Midsummer Energy, 2022 - 2025
Software design, focused primarily on the system design products Easy PV and Heatpunk. I built design structures, systems and practices from the ground up in a company that had never previously had a design team. During this time I led the creation of a unified design system to bring consistency, clarity and long-term maintainability to both products, working closely with engineering to ensure it could be implemented effectively. My role also involved carrying out user research, including installer interviews and internal workshops, to understand real workflows and guide improvements to key areas such as roof mapping, documentation flows and larger system-planning tools.
As the company’s primary designer, I took charge of product design direction across all software projects and worked closely with the MD on SAAS sites, the shop site, and wider brand development, ensuring a coherent and professional experience across the entire product ecosystem.

Working in various roles throughout a multi-national, fast growing company, gaining an in-depth understanding of how each department within a company works together to function successfully. During this time, I worked across several roles, including sales, operations, technical assistance for solar systems, heat pumps, and off-grid systems, and often was called to assist with marketing.
Pioneer Pump, 2020 - 2021
Designing, engineering, and building pumpsets for floods, mines, and quarries. Overseeing and executing a design project to convert half the existing EMEA fleet from fossil fuel to electric-powered, whilst converting the existing canopies to be stackable. Updating datasheets, guides, and visuals with modern, coherent designs.
